Gutfeld says Kamala Harris’ comments in Guatemala would have prompted the media to describe her as “racist” six months ago.

Vice President Kamala Harris has issued cautionary remarks to citizens of Guatemala and other persons in the Northern Triangle countries who have sought or may seek to illegally immigrate to the United States through the southern border, which Greg Gutfield commented in “The Five” about how these remarks are considered racist in The era of the Trump administration.

Harris claimed that she and President Biden want to discourage illegal immigration and that you will be “returned” if an immigrant travels to the southern border of the United States.

“Kamala’s motto should be ‘It’s not the Vice President, it’s ‘Why me’ – because technically she’s officially racist now, how can she explain it to Guatemala differently because if anyone said that 6 months ago, if you look at it from During the race filter, they would be racist.”

He added, “If you had a strong, strong stance on the border, which most Republicans do, you’re a bad person, and you were a racist — so now she’s in power and looks like a Republican.”

Gutfeld noted that the current Harris could easily be condemned under rhetorical standards during the Trump administration when it came to topics of race or regional ethnicity.

“Gutfeld!” The host commented on the irony that Harris appears to be shielded from criticism by the friendly press, while she was one of the first Democratic presidential candidates to drop out of the race in 2020.

Instead, Gutfeld noted, Democrats nominated Biden: “Who would they choose instead of her? A really old white guy who knows someone in the Klan.”

In 2010, Biden welcomed long-time West Virginia Democratic Senator Robert Byrd, who had been a Ku Klux Klan recruiter in the 1940s. In 1993, Bird apologized for his participation and called his membership in the KKK “the biggest mistake I’ve ever made”.

Gutfeld concluded that the media would likely “play the favourite” based on the similarities between Harris or Biden’s statements and frontier Republicans:

“I don’t know if that’s the case, I may not have enough data on that, but I think they probably didn’t mean it when they were calling everyone racist.”
