SALT LAKE CITY – A 3.7-magnitude earthquake was recorded by University of Utah seismic stations and the US Geological Survey Wednesday afternoon. The earthquake struck approximately 11 miles east of Independence, Utah, in Utah County.

Aftershocks with a magnitude of 2.5 degrees were recorded after about three minutes.
There have been no reports of injuries or property damage so far.
