HER stole the show Wednesday night during a performance with country music star Chris Stapleton.
The Bay Area band and Kentucky Cowboy teamed up for a collaboration with the song Hold On that got HER off on a guitar solo while Stapleton looked on in amazement – many on Twitter praising their good performance.
After the performance, social media couldn’t contain their excitement to see how much crossover the two stars displayed.
The official account of Bridgestone Arena, where the two introduced themselves, wrote, “The talent we just witnessed within these four walls left us speechless and covered in goosebumps.

Viewers at home raved, “It was worth watching half of the CMT Awards just to see HER perform with Chris Stapleton.”

One Twitter user even threw in his artist and music repertoire and asked, “So how do we get a duet album with Chris Stapleton and HER?”
One viewer wrote: “Two great shows in a row: Chris Stapleton and HER, then the amazing Carrie Underwood and NeedToBreathe,” and added, “Now that’s more like it!”
“She and Chris Stapleton had some of the best performances tonight!” chimed is another social media user.

Simply put, one super fan who added three fiery emojis wrote: “She and Chris Stapleton totally crushed on this CMT,” wrote one superfan who added three fiery emojis.
Stapleton also performed a solo effort for “Arkansas,” a performance he gave from a farm in Nashville.

Other performances throughout the star-studded night included Lady A trio, joined on stage by Carly Pierce and Lindsey Elle.
Elle intervened after Gabby Barrett withdrew, citing “personal circumstances”.

Meanwhile, hosts Ken Brown and Kelsey Ballerini graced the stage, then Hailee Witters took to the stage to sing “Fillin’ My Cup.”
Country Queen Miranda Lambert also performed a version of her song “Tequila Does” about a campfire alongside John Randall and Jack Ingram.
Luke Bryan also rocked the house with a “Down to One” hit.

Maren Morris and Barrett were originally set for the CMT Awards but have fallen out.
The show concluded with a performance of “Famous Friends” by Brown and Chris Young.
