The team announced Saturday that Utah Jazz point guard Mike Conley Jr. will miss his third straight game with a right hamstring injury.
Conley struggled with injury during the first half of Utah’s series-ending win over the Memphis Grizzlies on June 2 and has yet to play in the Western Conference semifinals against the Los Angeles Clippers. The Jazz have a 2-0 series lead entering Game Three on Saturday night at Staples Center.
Conley, 33, a first-time All-Star of the season, missed a significant time with hamstring injuries during his two seasons at Utah. He missed six matches in February and nine in late April and May due to a tight right hamstring.
He averaged 17.4 points and 8.6 assists per game for the top seeded Jazz in the first round.
