Kanye West has indicated on social media, amid reports that he is dating Irina Shayk, that his time following ex-wife Kim Kardashian on Twitter is up for now. West made headlines when fans noticed the rapper had quietly followed Kardashian and her family on Twitter. The exact moment this happened isn’t clear, but it comes at the same time as the Keeping Up With the Kardashians series finale aired. The episode depicted the moment Kardashian decided to divorce him.

Kardashian is still the only person West follows on Instagram, although that may change in the future.

In the conclusion of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which aired last night, Kardashian spoke candidly about why her relationship with West couldn’t be salvaged.

She began telling her mom Kris Jenner, who said she was “worried” about the Kardashian, that she was working on herself.

“I’m going to a therapist,” Kim said via People. “Let me work on myself and see where I am — and that’s what I’m so excited about, just like waking up at 40 and realizing I just want complete happiness. I know it’s clear that complete bliss is like, not complete reality, but if I could have it most Time, that’s all I want to do, wherever that takes me. I just want my pure happiness, so this is what I’m working on figuring out how to get there. I just feel like I’ve worked hard in life to achieve everything I wanted to achieve, it has lived up to my expectations and has achieved 10 times More than I thought possible in human terms.”

She added that she felt lonely in her marriage to West: “But I don’t have a life to share with her. Like, I do — obviously my kids and everything — but am I going to sit here and think, “Okay, my kids make me good, and I’m good?” I never thought I was alone… I always thought that was totally fine [West often being away]I can only have my children, my husband is moving from one state to another. And I’m just on this trip with him, and I was fine with that, and after I turned 40 this year, I realized like, “No, I don’t want a husband who lives in a completely different state than I am.” I thought, ‘Oh my God, this is the time when we’re dealing with the best,’ but that’s sad to me, and it’s not what I want.”

The story continues

“I want someone we share the same shows,” she continued. “I want someone who wants to train with me every day…The little things are what I don’t have. I have all the big things. I have the extravagance, everything you can imagine – and no one would ever do it that way, I know it, you know what I mean? And I’m grateful For those experiences — but I think I’m ready for the smaller ones that I think will mean a lot.”

Kardashian finally filed for divorce from West in February.
