Like the rest of the internet, Jennifer Lopez’s mother is rooting for Bennifer 2.0.
According to a source in People, days before Ben Affleck and J.Lo reunited in Los Angeles on Friday, the actor was in a relationship with Lopez’s mother, Guadalupe Rodríguez, in Las Vegas, where he was running an unnamed project. “Loeb was there for a fun cameo shoot,” the insider revealed.
Rodriguez is said to be “delighted” that her daughter is dating her ex-husband again. Another source told the outlet, “In the past, Jennifer’s mom and Ben were very close. Guadalupe loved Ben. She was heartbroken when they couldn’t work things out years ago,” adding, “She’s glad they are back together now.”

The source continued, “Jennifer is very close to her mother. It is very important to her that one gets along with her and her mother. Jennifer loves Ben and Guadalupe to hang out in Las Vegas. They both love to gamble and have fun together at the Wayne Hotel.”

Although Jennifer and Ben haven’t confirmed their new romance, it’s no secret – the couple is said to be “hoping” their relationship will work out this time around. A source told Entertainment Tonight, “They both matured on the same page and it was easy.”
“Jane is elated and really trusts Ben,” they added. “Ben is more traditional and low on his values and Jane at that. She loves that they can go on dates and have fun. She also thinks Ben is very smart and has a lot of great input.”
