Verizon wants to vaccinate you, so here’s $180 off AirPods Pro and other discounts on accessories

Verizon is joining several states in offering a financial incentive to get the COVID vaccine: Its customers who get at least one dose can get a 10 percent discount on accessories, either from its online or physical stores. And to enhance the deal even more, Verizon allows customers to stack this discount on top of the sale prices, which can be used to get some pretty solid deals. It is not clear whether or how you will have to prove your vaccination status.

For example, Verizon’s AirPods Pro are on sale through June 20, and a 10 percent discount brings them down to $180 from their regular $250 price. If you are a fan of headphones and can get the discount, you will be able to buy the WH-1000XM4s from Sony for $270. The offer can also be a way to get a nice little discount on an item at a lower price you’ve been considering, such as a Samsung wireless charging pad or the Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2 headphones.

The offer also applies to first responders, nurses, teachers, and military personnel. Any eligible customers will have from June 15 to July 31, 2021 to fill out a survey and receive their promotional code, which can be redeemed until August 15. While accessories for sale can be discounted, Verizon says that for whatever reason, accessories whose prices end in 0.97 cannot.
