Highlights of Copa America 2021: Argentina-Chile, Paraguay-Bolivia

One of the great things about the Copa America is the wealth of famous stars who can watch it throughout the tournament.

And on Sunday, it was Brazilian superstar Neymar who put a sure mark on Brazil’s 3-0 victory over Venezuela.

On Monday, it was Lionel Messi’s turn to steal the show.

It was a typical Messi moment, and it was clearly the highlight of the first part of Monday’s match – which also included Paraguay against Bolivia.

But it wasn’t the only advantage. Here are the highlights from Monday’s Copa America:

Argentina 1, Chile 1

The pre-match celebration started beautifully, with a beautiful tribute to Argentine legend Maradona.

Argentina maintained the pressure early on, and their quick 1-0 lead was stopped by Chilean goalkeeper Claudio Bravo.

But it wasn’t long before Messi got his chance, and if you’ve ever wondered what perfection looks like, this is it.

With 57 goals from free kicks during your career, it’s hard to imagine anyone else wanting to take that shot.

Chile, however, did not give up, scoring 1-1 with a raucous goal from Eduardo Vargas from a penalty saved.

Messi almost put the green light with a perfect pass in the 80th minute.

But it ended up in a 1-1 draw to be the final score in the opening match for both teams.

Paraguay vs. Bolivia

Paraguay immediately threatened to get out of the gate.

But it was Bolivia who initially struck with a knockout, although the goalkeeper correctly predicted.
