ASUS has added new models to its RTX 30 series series; All these models offer a feature called LHR or Lite Hash Rate. This feature is designed to make these GPUs less desirable to crypto miners, and we hope to put more of these GPUs in the hands of gamers. ASUS has added six LHR models ranging from different GPU series such as ASUS’s DUAL, TUF, KO and TURBO GPU series.

ASUS has added six new RTX 30-series graphics cards, and these cards follow NVIDIA’s guidelines for their LHR variants.

ASUS followed NVIDI’s guidelines as perfectly as possible, as it not only added the LHR tag to the product page, but also added it to the packaging.

Besides the branding and the addition of the LHR, none of the technical specifications have changed because each card still has the same number of cores, TMUs, ROPs and clock speeds (Boost and Base). This means that even though these cards may have a lower hash rate compared to the original cards, they still have the same in-game performance!

In addition to the technical specifications, along with the LHR feature, the overall design of each card has remained the same. This means that getting the LHR variant should look no different when compared to the original version of the card. Which makes it more desirable for gamers who have had a hard time upgrading or building their PC during a GPU shortage.

These cards were created due to the current GPU shortage, in part due to the rise of crypto miners taking multiple GPUs. This shortage has frustrated many gamers because they either could not update their existing PCs or finish building their previous PCs.

At the time of writing, ASUS has added six models in total, including the ASUS RTX 3070 LHR 8 GB DUAL OC V2, ASUS RTX 3070 LHR 8 GB KO V2 OC, and ASUS RTX 3070 LHR 8 GB TUF X2 OC. Unfortunately, the RTX 3080 LHR and RTX 3060 Ti LHR are not yet listed, although many are expecting them to be announced in a few days.
