Disturbing new surveillance video shows the moment an Eric Adams campaign volunteer is repeatedly stabbed in the South Bronx – with the first mayoral candidate saying he plans to get the victim to cooperate with cops.
The footage, obtained by NBC New York, shows an altercation between the 42-year-old victim and his attacker spilling onto the sidewalk around 2:30 p.m. — with the suspect stabbing the man multiple times.
The assailant continues to stab the volunteer even after he falls to the ground in front of a vehicle parked on Morris Street.
The suspect, dressed in a white tank top, tired army pants and a red handkerchief, is fleeing south on Morris Street with another man.

Previous surveillance footage released by police showed the brutal attack from a storefront camera where the attack took place.
The new video is taken from a camera down the street slightly from the previous footage.
Police later found an ice pick and a knife at the scene.
Speaking on Sunday, Adams said the volunteer — who has halted nearly 50 arrests — was inspired by his campaign for mayor and “decided he wanted to be part of that movement.”
Adams said it was not clear if the victim’s role in his campaign was a factor in the attack.
On Monday, the Brooklyn-area chief said he would visit the hospital volunteer again — to try to persuade him to cooperate with the police in the investigation.
The stabbing suspect was seen wearing a red handkerchief. DCPI
The police are looking for the suspect and partner.
