Former federal prosecutor Alvin Bragg made a slight lead over Tali Farhadian Weinstein in the Manhattan Democratic District Court for the District Attorney on Tuesday.
Late results from the Board of Elections showed Bragg with 33.81 percent (71,719 votes), nearly four percentage points ahead of Weinstein, also a former federal prosecutor, with 30.44 percent (64,562 votes).
The result came with 98 percent of the electoral districts and 212,123 votes were counted.
Other contenders for the crowded field include Assemblyman Dan Quart, former “Survivor” contestant and attorney general Eliza Orleans, civil rights attorney Tahani Aboshi, and former Manhattan Assistant Attorney General Lucy Lang.
Unlike other races on Tuesday, the Manhattan DA race did not use ranked-choice voting, because it is a state election. This means that the winner will likely be decided by the end of the night.

The winner will succeed local prosecutor Cyrus Vance Jr., who inherited a high-profile investigation into former President Donald Trump.
Vance held office for 12 years, who faced criticism over his handling of cases involving famous and powerful men such as Jeffrey Epstein and Harvey Weinstein and chose not to seek re-election.
