Drake Bell just pleaded guilty to his children’s at-risk case…but it’s not yet clear if he’ll do any behind bars.
The “Drake & Josh” star was in court for a hearing Wednesday in Ohio where he appeared via Zoom and pleaded guilty to attempting to endanger children (a fourth-degree felony) and spreading juvenile-damaging material (a first-degree misdemeanor).
The judge accepted Drake’s plea. He could face up to 18 months in prison for the felony. He is due to be sentenced in July. As we reported… Drake was in hot water in Ohio due to an alleged incident in December 2017
According to the Cuyahoga County District Attorney’s office… Judah filed a report with the local Police Department of Canada in October 2018 regarding an alleged incident that she says took place between her and former General Drake at a nightclub in Cleveland.
We told Canadian authorities to contact Cleveland PD…and their investigation revealed that the 15-year-old had an affair with Drake several years prior to the alleged incident.
Prosecutors say that while at the concert, Drake “violated his duty of care, thereby creating a risk of harm to the victim.” Prosecutors also say the investigation revealed that, during the months leading up to the party, Drake sent inappropriate messages on social media.
At this point, it’s not clear what messages Drake is accused of sending on social media.
