Bruce Springsteen reopened Broadway with its first full-run show since the pandemic

With most Covid-19 restrictions lifted in New York, Bruce Springsteen welcomed a crowded home to Broadway for the first time since the pandemic closed theaters in March 2020. The theater reopens in April for a pilot program designed to create a model for other Broadway theaters to reopen safely.

While the theater is now allowing full capacity, members of the public aged 16 and over will have to prove they are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 to enter. Those under the age of 16 or who required “reasonable accommodations due to disability or sincere religious belief” must show they have tested negative for Covid-19 and must wear a mask.

Jujamcyn, which owns St James’s Theatre, said it has developed the theater’s ventilation system and is conducting “strict cleaning and sanitation protocols.” Springsteen on Broadway runs through September 4. Most of the other Broadway shows return that month or so. York also recently held its first full-fledged concert since March 2020 at Madison Square Garden. The Foo Fighters welcomed fans back on June 20. This offer is only allowed to the immune audience. .
