Former Skid Row singer Johnny Solinger has passed away at the age of 55.

The artist passed away on Saturday, about a month after telling fans that he had been diagnosed with liver failure, according to reports.

Skid Row’s official Instagram page posted a tribute to the rock band on Saturday: “We are saddened to hear the news of our brother Johnny Solinger. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and fans.”

The message continued, “Godspeed Singo. Say hello to Scrappy for us,” referring to Solinger’s late grandfather, Willard Jesse “Scrappy” Smith, who has the namesake for his solo album “Scrappy Smith,” according to Newsweek.

Solinger joined the folk band in 1999 as a replacement for Sebastian Bach. He left the group in 2015 and was replaced by Tony Harnell.

Solinger has appeared on several Skid Row albums, including “Thickskin,” “Revolutions per Minute,” “United World Rebellion,” and “Rise Of The Damnation Army,” according to TMZ.

The musician reportedly married actress Paola Marcinaro, who shared an honest quote, attributed to Elizabeth Kubler-Ross and David Kessler, after Solinger’s death.

“The truth is you will be sad forever,” Marcinaro posted on her Instagram Story, citing the clip. “You will not ‘get over’ the loss of a loved one; you will learn to live with it.

“You will heal and you will rebuild yourself around the loss you suffered. You will heal again but you will never succeed. And you don’t have to be yourself. And you don’t want that.”

The GoFundMe was reportedly organized by a friend of Solinger’s, which raised more than $16,000 for Solinger’s medical bills, and also confirmed the singer’s death.

Quoting Paula, the page posted: “Update from Paula… Johnny passed. I was holding his hand. He went in peace. Thank you all. I’ll take a break from everything but please know that I am forever grateful for your love.”

Fan greetings also flowed in, with one person writing on Instagram, “Rest In Piece Johnny! I hope you’re cooking in a storm in the sky,” and another commenting on the Skid Row post, “Heartbroken. Johnny was a good guy.”
