Marvel’s Loki can be a very resilient guy, navigating between a bow-tie dollmaker and a cartoonish boxing bag as fast as Tom Hiddleston’s face can transform from arrogant supremacy to “Oh damn, there’s the Hulk.” Now, The God Of Mischief is pushing itself further than it does on the age-old Disney+ show, with news today that he’s set to appear as a character in both Fortnite and The Simpsons, bridging the gap between people with a big bang. Cultural tastes are still relevant, and those who are certainly not.

For what it’s worth, the adopted Asgardian will not appear in The Simpsons proper (although the gods know that weirder things have happened over the years – looking at you, Moe dish), but in a short set coming to live up to the show’s long lineages of Synergy with custom brands.

Specifically, “The Good, The Bart, and The Loki” will see Hiddleston appear on Evergreen Terrace after being expelled from his heavenly home once again, facing off against former planetary mischief avatar Bart Simpson. The short poster – which follows in the footsteps of company-approved “The Force Awakens From Its Nap” – shows a number of lovable Springfield residents dressed up as famous MCU characters, including a man we can’t help but think like “Ant-Man” sexy idiot.” (Also, they went to Ralph for Hulk instead of Homer, which we think gets points for authenticity, and… Who’s Captain Marvel? Is he just Captain Marvel? Wait, maybe it’s Helen Lovejoy. She’s got Helen’s little bow tie collar Neck. But, jeeze, that’s fuzzy.) The short will run July 7 on Disney+

But this isn’t the only Loki-based mega show currently running at the moment. Fans of Hiddleston’s character will also be able to bring that zest to the still-popular Fortnite on the internet, where they’ll be able to, uh… shoot him in the head? This latest MCU/Fortnite partnership will only be available to high stakes holders; To access Loki’s skin, players must be part of the $12 “Fortnite Crew” service to sign up for the game, so if you want to tackle everyone’s favorite variant, it’s going to cost you.

In the meantime, you can also continue to receive your desired dose of Loki content once you watch the show; You can read our review of this week’s premium here.
