A mysterious mutation shocks the Bengalis

[ad_1]

It was a normal Friday noon, not the afternoon of Friday the 13th. But many Bengalis heard a loud rumble and a slight jolt on Friday afternoon, and immediately, messages began to repeat back and forth if others heard them as well. Neighbors in the immediate vicinity, friends a few blocks away, and co-workers sitting in different parts of Bengaluru confirmed that they heard it, too. Social media was buzzing with posts and there was no need for further confirmation, except for the cause of this booming noise. Guessings were made, and guesses ruled. However, officials from Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Center (KSNDMC) denied any tremors or earthquakes occurred. An official said, “A report of a loud screeching was received by the local community from many parts of Bengaluru today, around 12:45 pm. The data was closely analyzed by us from the seismic observatory for any possible seismic signals of an earthquake. However, analysis of the data showed / The record for the above periods is no indication of the local tremor / earthquake. ”

But conjectures proved more interesting than the official quote. Some said it was due to flights while others claimed it was a sonic boom. However, sources from the Indian Air Force denied that any aviation activity or any known action on their part had caused any loud sound said to have been heard in Bengaluru. None of the IAF bases or units including ASTE were flying at the time. One netizen claimed that it sounded like an explosion of dynamite. However, a senior police officer said they inquired and there was no explosion at a quarry within or around the city. Another resident said the sound was loud enough to rattle windows and doors.
