(MENAFN – Trend News Agency) The Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center said seismologists recorded a 5.8-magnitude earthquake off the Chilean atmosphere on Sunday.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located 147 kilometers northwest of the city of La Serena (Coquimbo region) in Chile, where about 154 thousand people live. The epicenter was located at a depth of 20 km.
No information was received about the casualties, the destruction and the risk of a tsunami.
