Hollywood is mourning the loss of a rising star.
Actor Daniel Mickelson, brother of model Meredith Mickelson, passed away on the Fourth of July weekend. He was 23 years old.
Meredith shared a message on Instagram on July 5 alongside a bouncing photo of the siblings: “My heart is broken, writing this seems so wrong I don’t even know what to say.” “Yesterday I lost my brother, my best friend and the other half of my heart.”
“There has never been a person I have loved more on this earth,” she continued. “There are no words that can do him justice and that I can write. To know him was to love him. He was the happiest, most sunshine smiling person in existence and I am so glad that God chose me to be his sister for his entire astonishing life.”
No other details of Daniel’s death were announced at this time.
After reading Meredith’s post, many friends and stars have sent their love to the Mickelson family. “I pray for you,” Jordyn Woods and Patrick Schwarzenegger commented, while model Amelia Hamlin wrote, “Love you forever Daniel.”
