A 5.2-magnitude earthquake, centered in Assam, rocked Sikkim

Gangtok, Jul 7 (UNI) A 5.2-magnitude earthquake, centered in Golpara in Assam state on Wednesday, shook Sikkim district as well.

It happened at 0845, at 26.15 latitude and 90.28 longitude.

Ji In Raha, director of the Indian Meteorological Centre, said the quake had a depth of 14 kilometres.
