The former chief of staff of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle talks about the nature of working with the couple.
Catherine Saint Laurent, who joined the royal family’s Archewell Foundation in April 2020 after working for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Melinda Pivotal Ventures, told The Cut that her time with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex was a “wonderful experience”.
“They are incredibly talented and creative leaders,” she said in an article published Monday, as part of the outlet’s “How I Get It Done” series. “I am grateful to have had the opportunity to do this, to be with them on their journey. The time I had with them was incredibly satisfying.”
St-Laurent, who moved into an advisory role with the couple in early 2021, added that the Duke and Duchess “have the potential to be very influential leaders in the field of social impact”.
“I look forward to continuing to be a part of that,” she said.
Just last week, the royals got a great new job with the addition of Rebecca Sananes, who will join Archewell as chief voice officer. Sananes, who works on the Kara Swisher and Scott Galloway podcasts, “Pivot” will join the company in August, according to Deadline.

Harry and Meghan are currently on parental leave after the birth of their daughter, Lillibit Diana, last month.
The Duke of Sussex, who returned to the UK last week to join Prince William for the unveiling of a statue of their late mother, spoke about being the father of two children at the annual WellChild Awards last Wednesday.
The family told their new father, musician Ed Sheeran, that having two children “is definitely a sorcery,” according to Hello magazine.
“We’ve been lucky so far,” Harry said in a conversation with another person at the awards ceremony. “She’s really cold and seems happy to be sitting there while Archie is running like crazy.”
