Britney Spears’ sister Jamie Lynn has commented on guardianship, saying she wants to be left alone

Jamie Lynn Spears has once again commented on her sister Britney’s ongoing conservatism battle with a cheeky swipe on Instagram.

Jamie Lynn, 30, has previously spoken out about supporting her sister as the pop star tries to end her father’s guardianship over her. However, Jamie Lynn has also shown signs of wanting to be removed from the high-profile narrative. She has claimed that she has no role in guardianship and does not benefit from her sister’s money.

On Tuesday, Jamie Lynn took to her Instagram Story in hopes of further stemming the speculation that drove her into the midst of her sister’s and her father’s feud. She shared a news headline commenting on the fact that she’s the only member of the family who doesn’t get paid for her sister. The former “Zoey 101” star confirmed the title and asked the media to leave her alone.

“Facts…Now leave the broken one alone,” she wrote in her story (via E! News).

While this particular post seemed like a bit of a hoax, Jamie Lynn has previously taken to her Instagram Stories to note the negative impact that the growing interest in her is having on her family. She revealed that people went so far as to send death threats to her and her two children.

Jamie Lynn previously received backlash for staying silent over the past 13 years as her pop star sister remained under her legal guardianship. However, days before she was posted mourning death threats, the Nickelodeon star broke her silence as the ‘FreeBritney’ campaign became impossible to ignore.

She explained to her curious followers that she felt it was not her place to comment on her sister’s suffering before she did. However, after Britney first publicly asked to end the custody in a lengthy statement to the Los Angeles Superior Court, Jamie Lynn felt comfortable speaking out.

“Since the day I was born, I’ve only loved and supported my sister. I mean that’s my scary big sister, before any of those bulls—-. I don’t care if she wants to escape to a rainforest and has a million children in the middle of nowhere, or if she wants to Go back and take over the world the way I’ve done so many times before, because I have nothing to gain or lose either way,” Jamie Lynn shared with followers last week. “This situation doesn’t affect me either way, because I’m only her sister who only cares about her happiness.”

Jamie Lynn noted that she was only speaking for herself and was in no way the official spokesperson for her family. She concluded her thoughts on this by emphasizing that she supports her sister’s happiness, and reminded her followers that she had no interest in keeping Britney in her will or taking her out of her.

“If you end the guardianship and fly to Mars or whatever else you want to do to be happy, I support it 100% because I support my sister; I love my sister. She has always done and always will. As long as she is happy. So let’s keep praying. That’s all Thing “.

The “Toxic” singer was first placed under guardianship in 2008 and expressed her desire to end it on June 23.

During her talk, Britney claimed that her father, Jamie Spears, “loved” the control he had over her as her bodyguard. She also told the court that she did not want to be evaluated to determine if she had regained her mental capacity.

“I just want my life back,” she said. “All I want is for my money and my boyfriend to be able to drive me in his car. I want to sue my family.”
