Dallas – Once again, the biggest drag will continue eventually.
Just as he did at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Orlando in February, former President Donald Trump will conclude this weekend’s CPAC meeting in Texas by giving the event’s keynote address.
The American Conservative Federation, which organizes the largest and most influential annual gathering of conservative activists and leaders, says the former president will be the last keynote speaker at the three-day CPAC meeting in Dallas. Trump is scheduled to address the crowd at 3:35 p.m. Cairo time.

When asked about the former president’s address, Trump’s eldest son quipped, “With my dad, you never know, do you?”
“I can assure you it’s going to be fun,” Donald Trump Jr. said in an interview with Fox News Friday before his CPAC address. “I can assure you people will be pissed off.”
The conference comes as Trump, after five and a half months in the White House, remains hugely popular with Republican voters and continues to dominate Republican politicians, playing the role of kingmaker in partisan politics and repeatedly flirting with another presidential. Run in 2024.
The conference also comes amid Trump’s busiest schedule since the end of his presidency.

The former president traveled to Ohio two weeks ago to organize his first campaign-style rally since leaving the White House. A second rally was held a week later in Sarasota, Florida.
He also collaborated with Republican Governor Greg Abbott in an event along the US-Mexico border, in front of an unfinished section of the border wall that began during his tenure in the White House. Last week, he held a press conference at his golf club in New Jersey to announce a lawsuit against Facebook, Google and Twitter, which prevented him from posting on their social media platforms.

In recent rallies, Trump has targeted his successor. He criticized President Biden, highlighting issues of crime and immigration, accusing that “our streets are being overrun by vicious thugs and bloodthirsty criminals,” claiming that “our borders are being erased before our eyes.”

Trump also highlighted the culture wars, arguing that “the critical race theory is being pushed down the throats of our children into the ranks of our military.” He focused on the political battle over transgender rights, asserting that “men are allowed to play women’s sports, very unfair and very crazy.”
Expect similar language on Sunday, as Trump addresses the CPAC.
The president of the American Conservative Union, Matt Schlapp, told Fox News that Trump will use his speech to emphasize “the war against the big tech companies and the fight against illegal immigration — the fight to impeach Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer.”
“I think he had an ingenious plan for doing that, and I think he’s going to share it with people,” Schlapp said.
