Elon Musk’s feet are not popular with people who would likely spend most of anyone’s time on the planet looking at and assessing feet, outside of podiatry.
On Sunday, in the run-up to his flight aboard the Virgin Galactic VSS Unity space plane, billionaire founder Richard Branson tweeted a photo of himself alongside fellow billionaire, Tesla/SpaceX CEO, and potential space oligarch Elon Musk. In the photo, Branson is wearing shoes. Musk, for whatever reason, is not.
Most people will hardly notice. But as first reported by Business Insider, this doesn’t largely apply to the community at WikiFeet, “the collaborative site for celebrity feet.” WikiFeet is similar to Wikipedia, but for people who are obsessed with feet and who enjoy uploading and categorizing pictures of feet belonging to different celebrities (and in some cases, random people who often find the experience very disturbing). In the past two and a half months, according to BI, at least 14 different photos of Musk’s nude lower limbs have appeared on the site — including this week’s photo of Branson.
Musk’s score on WikiFeet is not very good. Out of a maximum of 5 degrees, WikiFeet users, as of Monday afternoon, rated Musk’s feet as a dismal 2.65.

Here is a sample of the comments section on the page, and some have noted that the 14 images on the page aren’t clear enough to work with:
Bad pictures. He doesn’t show his feet at all. Extremely rare one of the few places on the internet where it hasn’t been critically acclaimed, I’ll need better quality photos to make my final decision. Come on, Lemmy sees his feet!! Bro I would like to see more!
B.I. wrote that it was “unlikely that Musk would have thought so much”, who appears to have been the second richest man in the world. However, among the other billionaires racing to get into space, Musk isn’t particularly far behind. Branson has a rating of 3.33, while Amazon/Blue Origin’s Jeff Bezos comes in at 3.15.
It does not appear that Russian-Israeli billionaire Yuri Milner, who along with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg launched an interstellar probe project called Breakthrough Starshot, does not appear to have a page on WikiFeet. Nor did Yusaku Maezawa, the Japanese billionaire who paid an undisclosed amount to book a flight for him and eight creative-minded people on SpaceX’s Starship rocket in 2023.
Other billionaires have won prizes on WikiFeet. Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has a rating of 3.71, which recently fell into a completely different kind of sexual controversy. We are deeply sorry to inform you that Zuckerberg has somewhat inexplicably received a rating of 4.28, which just shows you just below the ankles may not be the best judge of character.
