Legendary guitarist Jeff LaBar, best known for playing the rock band Cinderella, has passed away.
Jeff’s first wife, Gael Labar Bernhard, tells TMZ… Jeff was found dead Wednesday inside his Nashville apartment.
We’re told that Jeff has gone off the grid in the past few days, and friends and family couldn’t reach him, so his ex-wife went to check on him…that’s when she found him dead.
The cause of death is still unclear.
Waiting for your permission to download Instagram media.
Jeff’s son, Sebastian, who he shares with Gayle, remembers his late father as a hero and idol…and he shared some photos of all the fun times they had.
Cinderella was one of the biggest hard rock bands of the ’80s, best known for their big hair and great songs “Nobody’s Cranked” and “You Don’t Know What You Got (Till It Gone)”…the band’s biggest Billboard hit. Jeff replaced the band’s OG guitarist Michael Shermic.
Jeff also launched a solo career, releasing a single “One For The Road”… He also played in a smaller band with fellow Cinderella band, Eric Brittingham, “The Naked Beggars”.
LaBar was 58.
