TOKYO (Urdu Point News/Sputnik – July 17, 2021) The Japan Meteorological Agency said on Saturday that a 5.1-magnitude earthquake occurred in Japan’s Seto Inland Sea.
The earthquake occurred at 8:50 pm local time (11:50 GMT) and had an epicenter at a depth of 49.
7 miles, according to the agency.
Tremors of up to four seismic intensity were reported in Yamaguchi, Oita and Ehime Prefectures.
The agency added that the earthquake did not pose any danger of a tsunami. There was no information about damage or injuries.
