“I am concerned about what will happen because we are seeing increasing cases among the unvaccinated in particular. While you have a vaccine, you are well protected from hospitalization and death, but unfortunately that is not true if you are not vaccinated,” Murthy told campaign host Dana BashDana BashSenate GOP to run ads against Warnock during MLB matches. Districts with low vaccinations should re-enforce the mask on the Arkansas governor: a “bad precedent” for sending privately funded guards to the border further on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

The United States has seen an increase in COVID-19 infections in recent weeks, especially as the most contagious delta variant is spreading rapidly across the country.

New infections mainly penetrated unvaccinated areas. Murthy said that currently 99.5% of deaths in the United States are individuals who have not been vaccinated

Vaccination rates have also fallen across the country, with many vaccinated residents still refusing to be vaccinated.

The Surgeon General said it was important for the Biden administration to take “every possible measure to make sure people get the information they need about the vaccine, make sure they get vaccinated, and help them get vaccinated as quickly as possible.”

“It’s the quickest and most effective way out of this pandemic,” Murthy added.
