Right when we thought things with the Spears family could no longer share, the Jamie Lynn and Britney Spears drama was heating up. It all started when Britney finally spoke on her Instagram this weekend about some of the things she was bothering about — including Jamie Lynn Spears’ performance of Britney’s hit songs at the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards (“I don’t like that my sister showed up at a party.” handing out awards and performing remix songs!!!!!! She wrote on Sunday.) The day before, she posted another message that many fans believe was directed in part at her sister, writing, “There’s nothing worse than people close to you who… They never brought you up to post things about your situation no matter what and they speak up honestly for support…there’s nothing worse than that!!!!” And while Jamie Lynn has yet to comment openly and directly on Britney’s posts, we’re wondering if her latest Instagram comment was directed at her older sister. Jamie Lynn posted a series of photos on Instagram in a stunning red suit matching a set of red heels with a pointed toe, but it was her caption that really caught our eye. It simply stated, “The peace of the Lord be with you and your soul.” I don’t know about you, but it looks like this might be a negative way to message Britney. It’s also clear that Jamie Lynn turned off comments on the post, which made us think she had a feeling that people might associate her comment with the star. Jamie Lynn also posted similar sentiments on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, writing that she “feels solid and stable, still on this beautiful Saturday” and that “God is everywhere.”
Britney fans criticized Jamie Lynn, and it became abundantly clear that despite the fact that Britney recently sent toys to Jamie Lynn’s young children, Britney herself is disappointed with her sister as well.
