Halsey welcomes her first child with boyfriend Elif Aydin

Months after announcing her pregnancy in front of surprised fans, Halsey has finally welcomed her baby boy to The New Americana.

The “Bidoon” singer, 26, gave birth to her first child with boyfriend Elif Aydin, named Inder Ridley Aydin, on July 14.

On Monday, she wrote on her Instagram, “Gratitude. For the rarest and most joyful birth. With the support of love.”

While Halsey has not revealed the gender of the newborn, Inder is a popular Turkish male name meaning “rare.”

The Grammy nominee surprised fans in January after she shared photos from a photoshoot showing her baby bump. In two of photographer Sam Demashek’s photos, the expectant mother poses completely nude in baggy jeans.

Halsey confirmed her relationship with Aidan, 38, after tagging the product in her pregnancy announcement, which captioned, “Heart so full, I love you sweetie.”

He is best known for writing movies and TV shows like “Small Shorts” on Netflix.

Since announcing her pregnancy, Halsey has taken fans with her during her trip, sharing photos of her ultrasound chart and stills showing her baby bump.

In March, she told fans that her pregnancy was “100% planned” and that she “tried so hard for it [baby]. “

It’s unclear how much time Halsey and Aidan spent together, but the couple got a coordinated tattoo of the word “seed” in each other’s handwriting in June 2020. At the time, singer Amanda Olly, the California-based artist who signed the couple, told that she and Aiden were Two friends “for a long time”.

The new parents sparked rumors in May that they were secretly wed when they were spotted wearing matching gold rings.

Halsey, who had a miscarriage in 2015, dated G-Eazy between 2017 and 2018.
