Kanye West has a new song recording the voice of the Beats commercial starring America’s Fastest Woman, Sha’Carri Richardson. The song is called “No Child Left Behind,” and it’s set to hit Kanye’s new album Donda. The album listening event takes place Thursday (July 22) at 8 PM ET and will be broadcast globally via Apple. According to the Beats announcement, the album will be released on Friday (July 23). Watch the ad below.
The venue debuted tonight during Game Six of the NBA Finals. West said he will release Donda (also referred to as Donda: With Child) in July 2020, but no album has been shown. Prior to Donda’s previous incarnation, he released “Wash Us In the Blood” featuring Travis Scott.
Kanye West’s last studio album was Jesus Is King of 2019. On Christmas Day that year, the West’s Sunday Service Choir released Jesus Is Born, a gospel band produced by West’s executive. His previous solo record reached in 2018, Kids See Ghosts – in collaboration with Kid Cudi – followed. In the same year, West also produced recordings by Teyana Taylor (KTSE), Nas (Nasser), and Pusha T (Daytona).
