The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has published its academic values for 2021.
SixBearcats from the women’s tennis team and four from the men’s team learned individual researcher-athlete awards from ITA.
To earn the Scholar-Athlete Award, a student-athlete must have an academic year average of at least 3.50 (on a scale of 4.00).
The women’s team also earned an All-Academic Team Honors GPA of 3.66, while the men were honored with a 3.44 award. To earn an All-Academic Team honorable team, you must boast a cumulative team score of 3.20 or more.
