MEAC Football Media Day, by Cricket, set for Friday

NORFOLK, Va. (July 26, 2021)The Middle East Sports Conference (MEAC) will host Cricket’s annual football media day on Friday at Hilton The Main Norfolk (100 E. Main Street, Norfolk, VA 23510 / 757-763-6200) in downtown Norfolk. at 9 p.m.

Head coaches and two student-athletes from MEAC’s six football game facilities are present. The show will be streamed on MEAC’s YouTube page and MEACSports.com, hosted by ESPN’s Tiffany Greene and Jay Walker. In addition, each coach and student-athlete will be available for face-to-face interviews with the media present.

There is no lunch this year.

The identification of the media present will be received at 8.30. Personally participating media are subject to COVID-19 protocols, including (but not limited to) possible testing, coverage, and social distance in accordance with the CDC and the Commonwealth. From Virginia. MEAC strongly suggests using personal media for masks.

The 2021 MEAC football season begins on Saturday, August 28 in Atlanta, Ga. Cricket MEAC / SWAC Challenge with Kickoff, who sees North Carolina Central Square against the state of Alcorn. The game starts at 7pm, live on ESPN.

The Middle East Sports Conference (MEAC) is currently the 51st inter-competition with the academic year 2021-22. In Norfolk, Va., MEAC consists of eight historically black institutions on the Atlantic coast: Coppin State University, Delaware State University, Howard University, Maryland University of Eastern Shore, Morgan State University, Norfolk State University, North Carolina Central University, and South Carolina State University.
