Cricket: It’s always good to have runs in the white series, says KL Rahul in the English series, Sports News

KL Rahul revealed the importance of redball cricket and the test industry. In a video released by BCCI, KL Rahul suggested that he felt good after the practice game.

KL Rahul made the last century in The Oval in September 2018. He had managed to get only 150 rides in nine innings on a visit before that inning, and his position was questionable. However, he changed things with an attractive 149 on the last day when he and Rishabh Pant almost won.

“When I dropped out in 2018, I had to go back to chat with the coaches, watch a lot of videos when I saw where I wavered, and tried to fix it,” he told BCCI.tv.

“I’m happy, free time from test cricket. As the saying goes, failure makes you strong, makes you more accurate and determined about the game. I have no difference. I’m looking forward to the opportunities, I’m trying to stay much calmer and more disciplined.”

KL Rahul has only played two first-class games in the last 17 months. A hand injury prevented him from the series.

“It’s always good to have runs in the white series. It’s been a while since I had played the red ball, so it was very nice to be there and the score is running. It’s important to be patient and wait for me I’ve worked on my game. It’s good to have time in the middle and do some runs, “he said.

During the warm-up game in Durham, KL Rahul had an additional obligation to keep the gate because Rishabh Pant and Wriddhiman Sawmill could not get in due to the Covid-19 conventions. While it’s not familiar to him, it’s part of his job profile.

“It’s a good opportunity to test my body and network monitoring skills,” he said.

“The added responsibility made me really sore, but on top of that it was a good time and it gives me a good chance to stay in the game. Especially when it comes to a practice game, it can sometimes feel longer. But when you keep the gate, you have to stay focused and be in the game all the time. .So I enjoy it quite a bit, “he added.
