The Bangladesh cricket board has not yet played for the DRS for Australia series

Bangladesh and Australia will fight it against each other in the five-match T20I series starting on August 3rd. Ahead of the series, however, the Bangladesh Cricket Board must address the biggest concerns of the decision-making system (DRS).

The BCB has not yet given a green signal to the DRS in front of the T20I series between Bangladesh and Australia. The crew of the International Cricket Council (ICC) is still arriving in the nation to perform the DRS. At the same time, the Covid-19 protocols add to the concerns because even if the crew arrives, they may have to go through a 14-day quarantine period.

However, BCB chief Debashish Chowdhury claimed that the quarantine period has been shortened with the special permission of the government. The broadcaster is ready. Now the ICC technical crew has not yet arrived. If he comes, we can complete the DRS. We are ready to manage the DRS, it all depends on the crew, BCB CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury told Cricfrenzy.

Covid-19 added challenges to the Bangladesh-Australia series

Cricket is played with strict restrictions due to the ongoing pandemic. In these challenging situations, it is difficult to travel given the Covid-19 protocols and limitations. Although the mission team has arrived in Bangladesh to lead the series, the team had to go down the road for that. Because the pandemic has caused travel restrictions, the flight route was not possible, leading the team to travel to Bangladesh through the Akhaura border.

The crew has arrived here by road. They drove past the Akhaura border with the special permission of the authorities. They are currently in quarantine at the hotel. Because there are restrictions on air travel, they arrived by road, Nizamuddin explained.

Liton Das, the dough opened by Bangladesh from the series, has been excluded from the series for personal reasons. Soumya Sarkar and Shakib Al Hasan are said to take care of the ligaments. The first match of the series will be played on August 3 at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
