What a catch! A cricket-crazy father dressed as a doorman for the daughter’s birth announcement

Parents in Western Australia, who held a unique photo to announce the arrival of their new daughter this week, say they are amazed that the images have become viruses online.

Cricket fanatic Brody Price and his wife Sarah welcomed their second daughter Hadley to the world on Tuesday night at the Kalgoorlie health campus.

The day after his birth, the photographer abducted Mr. Price in his cricket white and local club shirt ready to receive the newborn with his hand-held gloves and helmet.

“I love my cricket, I’ve always been, I’ve been playing since I was about 13,” Mr. Price told ABC.

“I had this idea a few months ago and thought it would be fun.

“He thinks I’m a bit of an idiot, but he’s used to me so far.

“He was in the hospital and away in less than 24 hours, so we managed to sneak the photos in.”

Even baby Hadley’s name has crisp meanings. New Zealand fans immediately think differently about Sir Richard Hadle, the biggest cricket in Kiwi.

“I didn’t really expect it to do that [go viral], ”Mr. Price said.

“My cricket team thinks it’s fun.”

Although Mrs. Price admitted she preferred to watch the grass grow than cricket, Mrs. Price described her husband as a sports nut.

“Yeah, she loves her sports as soon as we knew we were pregnant, she was planning what sports they were going to play,” she said.

She laughed at social media comments from people who mistakenly believed the photos were taken during childbirth.

“It really isn’t during the delivery I did,” he said.

She explained that her husband brought his cricket pack to the maternity ward in a bag and moved into the room.

“The family mocked a little so we could get the photos and notice that he was [Hadley]was here so they could talk about it.

“And they’re as surprised as we are that the Internet has gone a little crazy.”

And yet only three days old, how small is Hadley?

“Living comfortably,” Mom said.

From the father, he hopes both of his daughters are sports crazy like him. He even tries to convince the couple’s second daughter, Iylah, to be a barracks colleague in the AFL.

“I hope both [Hadley and Iylah]are cricket and foot, “he said.

“That’s my plan.”

“ Wackiest photo shoot ”

Photographer Renae Fox, Lil Impressions, said she was surprised to receive the call

“I’m not a cricketer myself, but most Australian men love cricket and probably hope they can do it too.

“I got this amazing idea from Brody, which he had, and I said, ‘Of course I’m more than happy as long as its safe environment.’
