It’s no secretAlabama footballhas produced some of the best receivers in college football in recent years.
With the selection of the first four rounds over the last two years, it is difficult to maintain even for Alabama. Can this group of receivers play at the high level of the latest Crimson Tide receivers?
Here are the beautiful Alabamareceivers and tight heads that will go into practice this season, starting on Friday, August 6th.
Alabama receivers
Outgoing starters:DeVonta Smith (by Philadelphia Eagles), Jaylen Waddle (prepared by Miami Dolphins)
Return migrants:Javon Baker (sophomore), Slade Bolden (junior in red shirt), Bret Bolin (junior in red shirt), Traeshon Holden (sophomore), Thaiu Jones-Bell (sophomore), Grant Krieger (junior), John Metchie III (junior), CJ Williams (Shatarius Williams (sophomore), Sam Willoughby (sophomore)
ALABAMA QB PREVIEW:Bryce Young leads the QB room; competition for backup
ALABAMA Soccer Event Schedule:Alabama football chooses Tennessee for the return home
Additions:Jacoby Boykins (freshman), Ja’Corey Brooks (freshman), Greg Carroll Jr. (second year student), JoJo Earle (freshman), Agiye Hall (freshman), Christian Leary (freshman), DJ Rias (second year student), Jameson Williams (junior)
Analysis:The location of the receiver may have the most question marks for the period of any location group. Losing the first two rounds of selection by location will make an impact. Thanks to Waddle’s lack of time, Metchie gained even more experience from her sophomore year, and Metchie now has the opportunity to be number one recipient in a crime that features many new faces a year ago. Who joins his lineup remains to be seen. Alabama may decide to go with the experience at an early stage, especially when it breaks a young quarterback. Watch early to see how Crimson Tide uses Jameson Williams. Saban and Metchie raged him at SEC Media Days when they talked about the juice and speed that a transfer from the state of Ohio brings to crime.
Alabama’s tight ends
Outgoing starter:Miller Forristall (draft, Tennessee Titans)
Returners:Jahleel Billingsley (junior), Melvin Billingsley (senior), Robert Ellis (sophomore), Richard Hunt (sophomore red), Cameron Latu (junior), Charlie Skehan (sophomore), Major Tennison (senior)
Additions:Caden Clark (freshman), Robbie Ouzts (freshman), Adam Thorsland (freshman)
Analysis:Jahleel Billingsley may be in a tight finale with new offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien. The tracks also have the opportunity to influence their red-shirt junior year and demonstrate their ability to run after the catch in the spring game with a 59-yard touch. Tennison returns as the oldest member of the group.
