On Monday, August 2, the City of Hendersonville will begin lighting renovations on the Patton Park tennis court.

The project will run throughout August, during which time there will be no lighting in the evenings.

The renovation includes a complete upgrade of the tennis court lighting system and the replacement of existing lamps with more energy-efficient and efficient LED luminaires.

A daily tennis court is still available during the project. If the closure of the courts is required, the public works staff will close the courts temporarily and as necessary.

The city’s public works department will carry out renovation work during the summer to ensure projects are completed before autumn and winter arrive.

Questions regarding this project can be directed to the Public Works Department at 828-697-3084.
