Will the Irish continue to dominate the USC in 2021?

The Notre Dame football program has dominated the USC Trojans in recent years, but can this trend continue in 2021? We look at all of USC.

Do you ever sit around you and wonder why USC hasn’t shot Clay Helton yet? It makes no sense because 45-23 in six seasons is well below USC expectations. It is also clear that he is unlikely to change the course of the program in the near future.

The recruitment of Trojans is clear enough on this subject. Still, it doesn’t seem like the USC board would have the same energy to move forward from him as the fans, and Helton even survived a sporty change of leadership when his seat was the hottest.

He only has two big appearances in the bowl game and one conference championship, none of which in the last three seasons, so he has to find a way to get it up and running in 2021. Luckily for Helton, they have a poor schedule in 2021, dodging both Oregon and Washington PAC-12 North.

There is no discussion about that. Notre Dame football is by far the biggest and most difficult Trojan test. For Notre Dame football, it’s going to be part of a difficult two-game episode, with North Carolina following USC to South Bend next week.

So the key is to avoid looking ahead and focus on your biggest competitor. It should be treatable hey a week in advance.

Notre Dame football leads the all-time series over USC 47-36-5. This includes their last three meetings. Notre Dames ’biggest ever win over USC came in 1966 when it won 51-0. USC’s biggest win over Notre Dame came in 2007 with a 38-0 win.
