Hockey adds Streib and Patton to the list

PHILADELPHIA The La Salle field hockey team has added a second-year transfer Emily Streib and an incoming freshman Kylie Patton team listing, head coach Martu Loncarica announced on Thursday.

Streib joins explorers after spending his freshman campaign in Syracuse in orange. The 5-6 goalkeeper is from Rüsselsheim, Germany, and started all seven matches in which he appeared on the team in the spring season of 2021. He set a 3-4-0 record, 1.75 goals against the average and 12 fights.

Prior to enrolling in SU, Streib graduated from Immanuel Kant Schule in 2019. He played club hockey at Rüesselsheimer RK and won the open air championship in 2012 and 2017-19. The team also took on the indoor championships in 2017-18 and 2018-19.

Streib started playing field hockey at the age of nine and played piano and violin.

Patton will join Blue & Gold after graduating from Henderson High School last year. The 4-11 striker / midfielder was an All-Area honorable mention and an All-League & National Division First Team award winner in his season.

Patton wrote all four years of high school on field hockey and plays with Horizon. His sister Kacie plays for the field hockey team at Saint Joseph’s.
