Sr Lanka Cricket set new records after winning the latest T20I series against India. They lost the ODI series, but returned well to win the ODI series 2-1. The series finally got the green signal after a long deliberation on the board. The series was previously designed for only three ODIs according to the original FTP program. However, the SLC also asked the BCCI to add three T20Is to the schedule. In return, the series also helped the government recoup financial losses.

Sri Lankan Cricket Thanks to Rahul Dravid and India for completing the series

The Sri Lankan cricket government thanked Rahul Dravid and the Indian team for completing the series. The series has played a huge role in recovering unprofitable income from COVID and other reasons.
