James, Springer and Mingo meet in the media on the first day

OXFORD, miss. On Saturday, the Ole Miss national football team once again got one step closer to a playful vibe everywhere, and for the first time since the spring, he trained with full pads. This implementation of the football season around the corner is gaining new momentum as they practice on Sunday inside the gates of Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

In less than a month, the rebels wish fans back to The Grove and the Vaught in their opening game against Austin Peay 11. September. Jeremy James, are eager to have a normal college football experience. What makes James ’experience exciting is also the return to his innate position in an offensive match in his second year season.

“It’s the first time I’m playing in front of a home audience. I’m excited. I’m ready for it. It’s something I haven’t done yet,” James said.

There is no shortage of excitement around the attack line with the arrival of a new O-Line coachJake Thornton. As Thornton brings a new level of confidence to the station room, James and other rebel line forces are ready to anchor a crime that is expected to be among the best in college football.

“He’s brought a lot of energy and excitement into the room. He’s getting the guys moving in the right way,” James said. “We will come together. We have the opportunity to be one of the country’s special lines of attack. This year.”

James also pointed out a few players from the attacking line of attackers who have stepped up their game this season Nick Broeker was also mentioned two days before Cedric Melton, Tobias Braun. Reece McIntyre there was also someone James acknowledged in Saturday’s press.

SPRING STAGE

After a year of waiting for the transfer of the fleet Jake Springer also rose to the podium to express his excitement about his team in defense. Since the fall camp began, Springer has had a limited, wearing a black non-contact shirt. However, the Rebel Defense Party will feel strong when the team arrives at the fall camp.

“I feel awesome, I’m just ready to start the season. It’s a precaution. There’s nothing to worry about,” Springer said. “I come to the same mindset every day after I’ve been there. It’s exciting to see the fans in Vaught. I’m tickling about it.”

Versatility has been demonstrated early and often during the first six days of practice, so naturally Springer had to determine what his role would be for this defense when asked. In defining safety on this team, he only needed two words.

“Make plays,” Springer said. “We are game makers who run around and play with as much effort and strength as we can to help us win.”

NO. 1 POINT

Offensively, Jonathan Mingo is someone who wants to play a bigger role in an attack even after he showed the flashing of a dominant light a year ago. In Saturday’s press, he made clear all the hard work and initiatives needed to achieve his goals.

“I’m trying to get my body in shape, mobility, flexibility, my mind and a better state of mind. I have to play more comfortably and try to get myself in the best position this season. I have to keep playing fast and confident. Don’t think too much. I have to go out and play in an instant.”

With all the hypocrisy his crime has generated in the offseason, Mingo quickly pointed out that it is useless if they do not ensure it with their preparation and action.

“It’s great to get this recognition, but we have to take it one day at a time,” Mingo said. “We can’t focus on anyone else. Our way of playing is related to exercise every day. We can’t take care of what people think of us. We have to improve every day.”

The Rebels will open their season in 2021 in Atlanta, Georgia, against Louisville in the 2021 Chick-Fil-A match. The start will begin at 7:00 PM CT and will be featured nationwide by ESPN.
