How the eight players replaced by Nazi succeed with the new clubs

More than two weeks have now passed since the craziest trade deadline National history. And this means that all the players involved in the sale of the club have had enough time to start making a name for themselves with their new teams.

Some have risen to the occasion and have become immediate fan favorites. Some are still trying to figure things out.

Here’s an overview of the eight players the Nats traded on time, and how they’ve worked so far …

MAX SCHERZER
The biggest name of all, Scherzer has made two departures for the Dodgers so far. His debut at home against Astros was a spectacle featuring the first set of the home team, then 10 strokes during seven double-ball innings, and the curtain of the Dodger Stadium loyalists called. Scherzer has since returned to the east coast, where late summer weather awaited. He was confined to a 3 1/3 goal point in Philadelphia on Tuesday, and is now scheduled to take the throne tonight at Citi Field on Sunday night in baseball.

THREE TURNERS
“How did he do that?” the slide, which spread last night, caught everyone’s attention, but overall Turner is still trying to find his support with the Dodgers. On Saturday night, he’s 6-for-30 with two doubles, two walks, four strikethroughs and a stolen base. At the second base, he was accused of one error in six games.

KYLE PROGRAM
Schwarber finally returned from the hamstring strain on the injured list on Friday night and acted as the Red Sox-designated batsman. He played four boards, drew two walks, scored a goal both times and didn’t hit any Schwarbombs over the Green Monster. But that day will surely come soon.

PAT HAND
The hand left the citizens in check, and it has continued for the first two weeks with the Blue Jays. Hand took the defeat to his Toronto debut, and then on Friday night he was called out of the ninth inning after the bases were loaded, and continued his four-step walk. The Nazis will see the left next week as the Blue Jays arrive in town on Tuesday for a quick two-game series.

DANIEL HUDSON
Because he was in COVID-19 IL when he was replaced by Padres, Hudson had to wait a while to join his new club. Eventually, he made his debut on Wednesday and struggled and let all four Marlins beats he faced get to the bottom. But he returned the following Friday, and he withdrew to the Arizona side with two strikes.

YAN GOMES
Gomes took home in his last match with the Nationals, and then he toured in his first match with athletics. Overall, the veteran catcher hits .280 with two Homers, eight RBIs and .840 OPS in seven matches with his new club. Although, surprisingly, he has thrown only one in four sellers.

JOSH HARRISON
The extra utility man continued from where he left DC when he arrived in Oakland. In eight games, he hits 0.296 with a base percentage of .367 and .811 OPS. How do those figures compare to his statistics with the national ones? Well, they are almost identical. And Harrison is playing everywhere again. He has already been to the second base, the third base and the left field for A.

JON LESTER
The most surprising fixed-term offer left many people wondering what the cardinals thought they would get from Lester. They’ve gotten two really bad starts (six runs in five turns against the Braves, five runs in 5 1/3 innings against the Kings) and then one surprisingly effective start on Saturday night (one run in five 2/3 turns against the Kings again).
