Nine women’s hockey players are mentioned to academics

The Middlebury women’s hockey team received nine players in honor when the 2020-21 American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) Krampade All-American Scholars was unveiled. The Panthers were among 201 players who were awarded for Division II-III programs in the East.

Due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, the AHCA approved revised criteria for this year’s winners. In order for a student-athlete to qualify, he or she must have achieved a 3.6 grade point average (GPA) for each semester, regardless of whether or not the school’s hockey team was able to play this season.

Earnings on the ACHA All-American Scholar list were recent graduates Anna Goldstein (Edina, Minn.), Meghan Keating (Wilton, Conn.) And Elise Park (McLean, Va.) As well as rising seniors Katie Hargrave (Pocasset, Massa), Caroline Silk (Stamford, Conn.) Yes Kiara Vazquez (La Quinta, CA).
