Nine women’s hockey players are mentioned to academics

The Middlebury women’s hockey team received nine players in honor when the 2020-21 American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) Krampade All-American Scholars was unveiled. The Panthers were among 201 players who were awarded for Division II-III programs in the East.

Due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, the AHCA approved revised criteria for this year’s winners. In order for a student-athlete to qualify, he or she must have achieved a 3.6 grade point average (GPA) for each semester, regardless of whether or not the school’s hockey team was able to play this season.
