A Chelsea player was sent to tackle Manchester United against the youngster

Chelsea young Josh Brooking was shown in red in a match under the age of 23 Manchester United on a brutal challenge at Dillon Hoogewerf.

The Premier League 2nd Division 1 match ended 1-1, and the penalty for Harvey James Vale was overturned by a brilliant late strike by United left-back Alvaro Fernandez Carreras.

But the main topic of the match came just an hour later when defender Brooking beat his opponent Hoogewerf and was sent out of Stamford Bridge.

18-year-old Hoogewerf made a great first contact to collect the loft passport in the back Shola Shoretire and advanced towards the goal.

A second touch to his left foot took him away from the attacking Brooking, who betrayed his tackle and completely destroyed Hoogewerf.

As he traveled as fast as he was taken out, Hoogewerf landed terribly on his shoulder.

He could have easily suffered a serious injury, but fortunately was able to continue after treatment.

As for Brooking, the former Reading-Midfield was taken care of by medical staff, but was quickly fired for dangerous hacking.

The challenge was more than something you expected from a Sunday League match between Dog and Duck and Red Lion.

After splitting the catch, Chelsea and United are now both in points for their first two matches in the new campaign.

Chelsea’s youth will gain momentum against West Ham on Sunday 29 August, and United hopes to win their first win of the season against intercity rivals Manchester City a day earlier.
