Mark Wood broke his shoulder at the Lord and leaves England’s third test in India
England’s fast bowler Mark Wood has been ruled out of a third test against India with his right shoulder squeezed.
The 31-year-old was injured in injury on the fourth day of the Lord’s second test when he dived to stop at the border and although he returned to the bowl on the last day, the ECB has confirmed he is not fit to play at Emerald Headingley.
Wood will continue on Joe Root’s side in Leeds to continue his rehabilitation with the England medical team and will be re-evaluated at the end of the test match.
