The Vacaville High tennis team defeated Rodriguez 6-3 in the Monticello Empire League on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs took four wins in a single game, led by number 1 Nia Macay, who won 6-1, 6-0. No. 4 Victoria Silva won 6-4, 6-1, No. 5 Stephanie Esquivel won 7-5, 5-7 (10-2) and No. 6 Sophie Foderaro won 7-5, 7-5.
In the duel, Cameron Gonzalez and Hadel Martin’s No. 2 team won 6-4, 6-1 and No. 3 Emily Pehl and Alexis Gromley’s duo won 6-1, 6-2.
