The Steamboat Hockey Classic will host a celebrity charity hockey game on Saturday

The seventh annual Steamboat Hockey Classic brings big names to the NHL and NWHL for the celebrity charity hockey game this Saturday night. (A good steamship classic)

This weekend, the seventh annual Steamboat Hockey Classic brings NHL and NWHL players to Steamboat Springs for celebrity charity.

There will be Curtis McElhinney, Eddie Lack and Jose Charbonneau, among others, who will join forces with local coaches and hockey players to take part in the game on Saturday night at the Howelsen Ice Arena.

In addition, there are some big names in the National Wocens Hockey League, including Dani Rylan, who founded the league. Also present are Olympic champion Erika Lawler and Hayley Moore, director of the National Pride of the National Women Hockey League and vice president of the U.S. Hockey Federation.



The game starts at 7pm on Saturday, but the festivities start at 4pm with the tailgate and meet and greet.

The weekend began on Thursday at a youth hockey camp taught by some former professionals. There will be a charity tournament at Haymaker on Friday. Steamboat Hockey Classic also partnered with a free summer concert series to provide a VIP experience.

The proceeds will go to the Steamboat Springs Youth Hockey Association.
