Scarpa climbed to new position at Harvard as Chief Operating Officer of Women ‘s Hockey College Hockey

Harvard has announced the addition of Alicia Scarpa as head of the women’s hockey operation.

Scarpa last spent seasons 2019-20 and 2020-21 assisting the team before being promoted to this new place for the 2021-22 season.

We are excited to have Alicia return to our staff as the first head of hockey operations, fully dedicated to our women’s hockey program, Harvard coach Katey Stone said in a statement. Alicia is well acquainted with Harvard, college hockey and our program. He jumps in and makes a positive impact on the first day.

Prior to this, the men’s and women’s teams shared one operational leader and now decided to share the role so that each team has its own dedicated leader.

Prior to Harvard, Scarpa spent three years with 3 Step Sports as an event coordinator and became the leader of the online sales team. In graduate school, he played a role in the Concussion Legacy Foundation, a nonprofit nonprofit athlete, veteran, and all the influence of concussions and CTE. and research.

After graduating from the state of Florida in 2014, Scarpa worked at Converse HQ as a brand operations expert and focused on internal events.

Scarpa holds a bachelor’s degree in sports management from the state of Florida and received his master’s degree in sports management from Northeast Africa in 2017.
