ERIN, Wisconsin Marquette University’s men’s golf team shot 3 under 285 in the second round and is ranked 13th at the Marquette Intercollegiate Erin Hills.

Freshman Max Lyons started his second round strongly, recording five birds and no rolls behind nine before turning No. 1. He continued with a steady pair from the front and ended his day with less than 5 pairs with a score of 67. Lyons is now 4 under two in two days at the Marquette Intercollegiate and is in a draw 18. in person.

Hunter Eichhornmade a fantastic ascent up and down the bunker on par-3 in the ninth to save the pair and close his even-pair round at 72. Eichhorn is 1-under in the tournament with a tie of 41 ..

The Gospel of Nicholas and Josh Robinson ended his second round 1-par. Evangelio and Robinson are both in the fourth tournament. Tyler Leach ended his second round with 76 points and is a total of 2 over par.

As individuals, Bhoom Sima-Aree and Aidan Lafferty both shot 70, 2-less than par, in their second rounds. Sima-Aree is now 2-under and exactly 32.- in the tournament. Lafferty is up for the tournament.

The excellent round of the Hills Marquette Intercollegiate will be played on Tuesday at 8 a.m. and will be postponed 30 minutes earlier due to the expected adverse weather conditions.
