The latest AP survey has been released and the Texas A&M Football team is officially among the top five. However, this may seem a bit negative after Aggies landed in fifth place at the end of the 2020 season, leaving them out of the College Football Playoff.

Still, it’s noise from the original AP survey ranked 6th in the country as the best team. Now they are the fifth best among AP voters.

How did they get this bump? The real answer is that they take care of the business. They didn’t have a close win, as some of the other top teams won the game, where they scored 29.5 points with 31. If anything, expectations were slightly exceeded.

The Texas A&M Football team benefited from the early game of the high-profile season

In hindsight, Aggies should have waited in the top five. Texas A&M’s victory over Kent State was almost guaranteed, while the two teams that were in the original top five clashed in Clemson and Georgia. In that case, Georgia would be the winner.

As a result, Clemson Tigers dropped three points to A & M’s original sixth place. Aggies moved to five locations and moved along with the state of Ohio, which moved from four to three.

But with this move, the question remains, can the Texas A&M Football team move to another location and strengthen them for the College Football Playoff discussion?
