Week 1 is officially on the books, so AP Top 25 voters now have (at least) one result to judge the country’s college football teams. Last weekend, the top ten fell off the road on Friday night. lost at home to an FCS opponent with just 7 points.
After all these actions, there were certainly major changes in the latest AP polehead of Week 2.

Changes among the top ten
Prelude No. 1 Alabama remained at the top of the AP survey after it had caught fire. 14 Miami 44-13 two-team neutral opener and pre-season No. 13 Florida remained in 13th place after 1 week of victory over Florida Atlantic. The biggest movers
Improved for the season 2-0 with a win of 38-27 from the then No. 16 LSU, the Bruins took the Tigers ’16th place as they moved from the last team in the“ other to vote ”class in the pre-season vote to the mid-teens.
Big Ten stable Iowa and Penn State each rose eight places in the AP survey compared to the season’s initial ranking. The Hawkeyes are now No. 10, one place ahead of the Nittany Lions. No team ranked in the pre-season improved their position in the AP survey more than the two.
In the other direction, Season No. 10 North Carolina dropped 14 points to 24th after falling 17-10 on the way to Virginia Tech, which is now 19th in the hands of Alabama.

Columbus is in a huge showdown this week as pre-season Pac-12 favorite Oregon travels to face pre-season Big Ten’s favorite Ohio State. The winner will have a party tent that cannot attend the conference to win their back pocket, but the loss will not affect their premature predictions regarding their conference title.
You could argue that Ames, Iowa, will be home to the biggest game of Week 2 when the Cyclones host Hawkeyes among the top ten matches. The state of Iowa earned the all-time best AP poll ranked 7th in the pre-season poll, but a narrow victory over Northern Iowa, the FCS enemy, caused the cyclones to drop two points to number 2. However, they are still higher – although Iowa has since won 34-6 . 17 Indiana with a couple of pick-ups from the Hawkeyes defense. Each team can compete for their conference championship this season, and a win in Week 2 can help the winner strive for even higher expectations.
